As a member of our Software Engineering Group you are expected to hit the ground running on day one. You will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating quality software applications. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. You are expected to come in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists.
Design and develop Web application, Web services, IT Operations and effective continuous integration to determine the feasibility of design within time and to oversee code development progress using Java, J2EE, Cassandra, Spring, Eclipse, WebLogic, REST Webservices, XML, JSON, JUnit, Kafka, Maven, Cassandra, JIRA, Jenkins, Spring Cloud, JSP, Servlets, AWS, Chef, Docker, JavaScript, JAX-RS and SaaS, Oracle. Design and development of database schema and Entity-Relationship diagrams of the backend SQL database tables for the application. Designing and developing the transformation of various data streams, including EDI and XML, into internal and external system formats. Responsible for managing the front-end UI application which has the details of the web services by using HTML, JavaScript and CSS. Develop test plans and maintain them regularly, working with product owners, system analysts, developers, and external vendors. Working on Pivotal cloud foundry Architecture (Diego Architecture), PCF components and their functionalities. Experienced in using PCF CLI for deploying applications and other Cloud Foundry management activities. Build end to end CI/CD Pipelines in Jenkins to retrieve code, compile applications, perform tests and push build artifacts to Nexus. Deploy to orchestrate changes across servers and components.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Computer Technology or Engineering and two years’ experience in position or two years’ experience in IT field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience)
Special requirements: Experience with Java, J2EE, Cassandra, Spring, Eclipse, WebLogic, REST Webservices, XML, JSON, JUnit, Kafka, Maven, Cassandra, JIRA, Jenkins, Spring Cloud, JSP, Servlets, AWS, Chef, Docker, JavaScript, JAX-RS, SaaS, and Oracle. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the US. Telecommuting permitted.
